He was predeceased by: his wife Carole Gilpin; his grandson Jacob Goss; and his great grandchildren, Makailah Kent and Jaida Kent. He is survived by: his children, Sally McNamara (Brian), Jane Brown (Mike), Julie Anderson (Edward), Donna Finnie (Tony), Deanna Goss (Earl), William Gilpin (Brenda), Daniel Gilpin (Angela), Derrick Gilpin and David Gilpin (Jennifer). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and several loving great-great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
