He was predeceased by: his close friend Marie Aho. He is survived by: his children, Cory Arbelius (Denise) of Palmer, Shawn Pietila of Suomi Location, Troy Pietila of Palmer and Krista Pietila of Marquette; the mother of his children Darlene Pietila (Sikkila); his granddaughter Kinzleigh Ann Pietila; and his brothers, Craig (Cathy) of Suomi Location and Kevin Pietila (Angie) of Suomi Location. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
