With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elwood Narhi of Painesdale, Michigan, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Elwood departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Elwood. Though Elwood may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sulo Narhi and Sophie Narhi (Belttari); his brothers, Lloyd and Erland; his brothers-in-law, Andrew Phillips, Einard Huuki and Roy Raatikka; and his niece Doreen (John Thibeau).
He is survived by: his siblings, Sheldon Narhi (Eda) of Houghton, Clyde Narhi (Joanne) of Superior, WI., Sandra Raatikka of Houghton, Audrey Viola (Tim) of Chassell and Laila Phillips of Bay City, MI.
