He was predeceased by: his parents, William Heikkila and Inez Heikkila (Strang); his brother Robert Heikkila (Judy); and his brother-in-law Ken Blom (Sandy). He is survived by: his wife Bette Lee Blom; his children, Don Heikkila, Jr. (Hiedi Hietala) of Oconto Falls, Wisc. and Lee Ann Heikkila of Marquette; his grandchildren, Leevi and Lillian Heikkila of Oconto Falls, Wisc.; and his brothers-in-law, Ted Blom (Margaret) of White Pine, Keith "Skip" Blom (Debbie) of Marquette and John Blom (Marcia) of Ringwood. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
