It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Edgar Wurtz of Oxford, Michigan, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Wurtz and Emma Wurtz; his wife Harriet; his sons, Gary (Sue), John (Karen) and Phillip (Tina); and his grandchildren, Gary, Bird, Kevin, Sophia, Cynthia, Miranda, Aaron and Noah.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754).

My husband always respected him and his many talents, and of course we all grew up knowing he could fix anything and did so many times when we were up north snowmobiling, four wheeling, etc. We pray for peace for all of you during this difficult time.
