With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Patterson of Oxford, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 16, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Delong and Mary Delong (Stenton); her husband William R. Patterson; her grandson Kurt Davidson; and her sister Nellie Coons.
She is survived by: her children, Mari, Bierwirth, Teri Jacobsen (Brad), Jean Davidson (Tim) and Richard Patterson (Pamela); her grandchildren, Heather Holloman (Patrick), Charles Bierwirth, Lauren Smith (Jeff), Emily Williams (Stephen), Bradford Jacobsen (Jamie), Scott Davidson (Sophie), Todd Davidson (Heather), Richard Patterson (Erica), Steven Patterson (Savanah), Robert Patterson, Kevin Patterson, Claire, Ian, Emma, Anna and William Kaiser; her great grandchildren, Ella, Katelyn, Elizabeth, Benjamin and Eleanor; and her sister Jean Shebuski.
