He was predeceased by: his children, Jennifer Gilbert and John Rowland (Shelly); and his parents, John Rowland and Jane Rowland. He is survived by: his spouse Cosette J. Rowland; his children, Laura Rowland (Caulene), Nancy Bryant (Emmitt) and Robert Rowland; his stepchildren, George Bolvari (Amy) and Valerie Skoda (Matthew); his sister Charlotte Bruce (Lloyd); and his cousins, Janet Shepard, Jon Rowland, Claudia Ealy and Doug MacFarlane. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as step-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
