She is survived by: her husband Robert Carl Cantrell; her granddaughter Mary; her children, Fitzhugh Cantrell (Katrina) of Norfolk, Virginia, Charlotte Cantrell-Doran (Jim) of Charlottesville, Virginia and Robert Cantrell (Anne) of New York; and her grandchildren, Charlie, Sam Cantrell of Norfolk, VA, Alexander, Andrew Doran of Charlottesville, Virginia and Coco Cantrell of New York.

In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted to the DC Kennedy Institute.
