He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Allen; his son Eric Michael Allen; his brother Dale; his sister-in-law Carol Allen; his nephew Michael; and his niece Kelly Allen.

He is survived by: his sister Ardis Foust; his children, Jeff Allen (Linda), Larry Allen (Myung) and Suzie Roeher (Tim); his grandchildren, Kenny Allen (Abby), Jill Bailey (Jason), Joe Roeher, Simon Alverz (Cynthia) and Jake Allen; and his great grandchildren, Chloe, Sophie, Heidi, Katie, Kolby Allen, Caden and Savannah Bailey.
