With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Wesley Sommers of Oxford, Michigan, born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, who passed away on January 28, 2022 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sommers and Violet Sommers; and his brother William Sommers. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Kenneth Cooper (Dawn), Shelly Katto (Mike), Sheila Stankevitz, James Stutesman (Karlie), Jeff Yott (Lisa), Julie Ellis (Bob) and Paula Smith (Ryan); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Nathan, Zack, Tyler, Blake, Elisabeth, Brittany, Lexi, Tommy and Evelyn; his great grandchild James; his sister Linda Finch (Mike); and his mother-in-law Georgia Compton.
Memorial donations in John's name may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
