It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Chevrie (Oxford, Michigan), born in Dearborn, Michigan, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Orto and Frank Orto; her daughter Mary Jo Bokshan (Don); her granddaughter Ashley Popiel (Luke); her sisters, Carol Kramb and Evelyn Hyble; and her husband Michael M. Chevrie. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in Irene's name to the St. Benedict Monastery.
