He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Thorpe and Zenith Thorpe; his brother Sam Thorpe; and his son William Walker Thorpe. He is survived by: his spouse Treasa Thorpe; his son Benjamin Beau Thorpe; his grandchildren, Jamel, Bria, Benjamin Beau Jr., Celia and Baby; and his sisters, Janice Moore (Frank), Lana Tomlin, Hope Murray, Sue Herrick (Doug) and Debbie Thorpe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
