He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Douglas Goik, Daniel and Doris Candea. He is survived by: his wife Laura; his daughters, Skylar (Boyd Childers) and Jordan (Joseph Reiss III); his parents, Dennis Goik and Darica Goik; his godparents, John and Mary Tatomir; his in-laws, Donald Strong Jr. (Robin) and Janice Damron (Gary); his grandmother Charlotte Goik; his brother Doug (Monica); his siblings-in-law, Mike Strong (Jenny), Matt Strong, Sarah Strong and Stephanie Strong; and his nieces and nephews, Miranda (Merritt), Michael, Nicholas (Juliana), Adam (Jamie), Alexander, Evelyn, Caius, Stella and Allison.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM. A prayer was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Oxford (39 W Burdick St, Oxford, MI 48371). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. George Romanian Orthodox Cathedral (18405 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075).
