He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Wilson and Helen Wilson; his sister Beannie; his sons, Michael (Candy) and James (Cristal White); his adoptive daughter Tonya Deacon; his great grandchildren, Avery Rally, Danielle Victoria, Cameron and Logan Wrigley; his spouse Shirley; his children, Mark Wilson (Kristina Casey) and Tonya Deacon; his grandchildren, Aaron (Jessica), Samantha (Michael), Mark II (Sarah) and Jacob; his great grandchild Mark III; and his siblings, Charlene Mulroy, Robert, Joyce and James. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
