She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Stilson and Neva Stilson (Janes); her husband Robert Rust; and her son Rodney E. Rust. She is survived by: her children, Jim Rust (Rosie), Jackie Custer (Al) and Jerry Rust; her grandchildren, Angela Wiley (Mark), Jason Custer, Marli Oliver (Brian), Jennifer Yaple (Jared), Christina Norder (Tim), JimBob Rust (Joanna) and Jeremy Rust; and her sister Maxine (Leon). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
