We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2024, at the age of 85, Ruth Adele Swan of Owosso, Michigan, born in Racine, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Carpenter and Clara Carpenter (Adele); her son Robert Swan; and her daughter-in-law Deborah Swan. She is survived by: her husband Max; her children, Jeffrey Swan (Lynne), Mary Ardelean (Jeff), Brian Swan and Ann Marie Swan; and her sister Carol Hanchett. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Salem Lutheran Church.
