He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick William and Helen Weinert (Obee); his brother Roger; his son Allen; his granddaughter Melody Pinter; and his great grandchild Christopher Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Melrose; his children, Linda Pinter (Danny), Laurie Weinert, Gregory Weinert (JoAnn), Dawn Elwood and Pamela Algood (James); and his sister-in-law Kay Weinert. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
