The memory of Richard A. Walker of Owosso, Michigan, who passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Walker and Velma Walker (Hall); and his siblings, Glenadine Cross and Lyle Walker. He is survived by: his wife Janet Janego; his children, Michael Walker (Julie) of Williamston, Jill Kline and Jane Feldman (Kevin) of Fort Wayne, IN; and his brother Ken Walker of Flint. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson-House Funeral Home (120 E Mason St, Owosso, MI 48867). A rosary was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (915 E Oliver St, Owosso, MI 48867).
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation-causes that were close to his heart.
