We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Ray Newman of Owosso, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Newman and Helen Newman (Kimball); and his siblings, Rolene Kelly, Robert and Gilbert Newman.
He is survived by: his children, LeAnne Sleder (David) of Traverse City, Thomas Newman (Vera Stanfield) and MaryKay Newman of Owosso; his grandchildren, Sonya Mahaney of Anchorage Alaska, Ben Sleder of Traverse City, Jerri Jo Sleder of Boyne City, Jason Sleder of Aurora Colorado, Caleb Ellard and Ryan Russell (Jennifer Mason) of Owosso; and his sister Karen Laza (Bob). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Nelson-House Funeral Home (120 E Mason St, Owosso, MI 48867). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested in his honor to Shiawassee County Humane Society.
