We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025, at the age of 89, Lois Chmelar (Owosso, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Lare and Lena Lare (Bowles); her husband Henry Chmelar; and her siblings, Shirley Henry, Pauline Lanfear, Evelyn Moore, Carolyn Simison, Charles "Mike" Lare and Roland "Ike" Lare.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Dice (Earl), Thomas Chmelar (Kelly) and Barbara Kral (David); her grandchildren, Brett Dice (Terri), Brandi Dice (Kristi Ward), Chelsey Saari (Kyle), Brooke Taipale (Michael) and Allison Chmelar; her stepgrandchildren, Nathan Ballantine (Alexia) and Rachel Barker (Drew); her great grandchildren, Sierra, Aaron Dice and Marek Saari; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Milo, Maia Ballantine, Lake, Forest and Sky Barker; and her sisters, Maxine Johnson and Louise Bryant. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
