He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Helmker and Ethel Helmker (Marquedent); his sister Ellen Larner; and his brother-in-law Gile Larner. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Helmker of Owosso; his children, Jon Helmker (Jennie) of Commerce Township, Hollie Drake (Brian) of Owosso and Shellie Cholke (Jim) of Oak Lawn, IL; his stepchildren, Melissa Smith and Ryan Smith of Owosso; his grandchildren, Amanda Helmker, Adam Helmker, Jordan Helmker, Tyler Drake (Kaylee), Connor Drake (Jackie), Grant Drake (Brittany) and Hannah Cholke; and his great grandchildren, Landon and Lucas Drake. He is also survived by his extended family with many very special cousins, nieces, and nephews.
