He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Mark and Sylva Sowle (Coe); his siblings, Beverly Sowle, Maxine Fishel, Neil Sowle and Gail Sowle; and his nephew Dr. Kent M. Fishel.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ellen Sowle (Boice); and his nieces and nephews, Don Sowle (Gloria), Patty Sowle, Diane Sowle, Janet Sowle, Gail Sowle Jr. (Mary) and Richard Fishel (Joyce).
