We bid farewell to Jacqueline Sue Holmes of Owosso, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 18, 2024 at the age of 85. Jacqueline Sue touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Veale and Mildred Veale (Smalley); her husband Robert Holmes; her son David Holmes; her grandchildren, Russell Carlton and Amy J. Thiele; her great grandchild Radd Carlton; and her brothers, Dennis and Michael Wondal.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Carlton (Tammy), Randy Carlton (Kim Omer), Cindy Spencer, Kimberly Berthume (Michael) and Scott Carlton; her pet Woody; her grandchildren, Chad Holmes, Shane Carlton, Nathan Berthume (Kelly), Jeff Spencer (Katie), Rebekah Carlton (Bo Hudecek), Colby Berthume (Ashley), Andrew Carlton, Tyler Carlton (Katie) and Olivia Carlton (Colton); and her siblings, Rick Veale and Ruthann Carlton (Richard). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson-House Funeral Home (120 E Mason St, Owosso, MI 48867). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
