With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Smith Jr. of Owosso, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Smith and Dorothy Smith (Smith); and his in-laws, Orville and Amelia Bannister. He is survived by: his wife Carol Smith; his children, Keri Smith, Rani Smith and Keli Smith-Niehans; his grandchildren, Brandon Hughes, Cody and Kyle Clark; and his siblings, Thomas Smith (Jan), Kathleen Smith (Jim), Margaret Began (Bill) and Elaine Johnson (Don). He is also survived by many aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.
