He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Koch and Madeline Koch (Costa); and his son-in-law Bart Porter. He is survived by: his wife Jennie Koch; his children, Jozette Porter and Niki Smith (Gary); his grandchildren, Bart Porter (Morgen), Nicholas Porter, Randy Dorff and Jessica Porter; and his sister Christine Koch-Orr (Brian). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul Catholic School.
