She was predeceased by: her spouse Jerry Hnevsa; and her granddaughter Lacy Porter. She is survived by: her children, Marc Hnevsa (Suzanne) and Lorie Porter (Bob); her grandchildren, Brandi Couzynse (Travis), Brittany Sigafoose, Dustyn Porter (Rachel Antilla) and Gerry Porter (Hailie); and her sister Betty Soherec. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson-House Funeral Home (120 E Mason St, Owosso, MI 48867). A rosary was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (915 E Oliver St, Owosso, MI 48867).
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Red Cross.
