He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence S. Peterson (Ethel) and Doris Jean Peterson (Ferrall). He is survived by: his children, David Peterson (Michelle) of Salem, IN, Donald Peterson (Martha) of Elsie, MI, Dawn Peterson of Fenton, MI and Paul Peterson of Owosso, MI; his grandchildren, Michael Peterson (Misty), Stephanie Hart and Holly Hart (Gage); his great grandchildren, Korbin, Alexis, Jeremiah and Ashara; his siblings, Benjamin Peterson and Ellen Bearup; and his pet Katie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (221 E Main St, Elsie, MI 48831). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elsie Area Fire Department, or the charity of your choice.
