She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sayles and Olga Sayles (Hibbard); her husband Bob; her siblings, Frances (George Michalek), Dick (Hilda Sayles) and Henry (Shirley Sayles); her brother-in-law Clyde "Bill" Ware; and her nephews, Dr. Thomas Michalek, Jeff Michalek and Jimmy Ware.
She is survived by: her son Ken (Peg); her grandchildren, Jennifer of Chicago, IL, Eric of Bloomington, IN and Rachel (Adam) of Limerick Ireland; her sisters-in-law, Mary Ware and Phyllis Lohr; and her cousin Margaret Williams of Canada. She is also survived by extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pittsburg Methodist Church (2960 W Grand River Rd, Owosso, MI 48867). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Pittsburg Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
