With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David William Strachan of Owosso, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2025 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David William Strachan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David F. Strachan and Bernice M. Strachan (Francis); his granddaughter Alysa Louise Nequist; his brother Ernie Chapman; and his fathers-in-law, Don Cochran and Richard Lester.
He is survived by: his children, Denyse Copley (Steven), Brent Strachan, Amanda Lemos and Justin Strachan; his grandchildren, Jayden Nequist, Tyler Strachan, Julia Strachan, David Strachan, Jr., Justin Strachan, Jr., Odin Strachan, Hayley Strachan, Caleb Strachan, Christopher Winters, Candace Baldwin and Karin Bayliss; his great grandchild Karmen Louise Stout; his siblings, Robert Strachan (Debbie) and Joan Luchenbill (Foster); his mother-in-law Diann Lester; his siblings-in-law, Marjorie Britton and Steven Cochran; his pet Rascal; and his wife Laura.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes - Jennings-Lyons Chapel (520 W Main St, Owosso, MI 48867). A masonic service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Jennings~lyons Chapel (520 W Main St, Owosso, MI 48867).
