She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Walter and Mary Walter (Mahony); her stepmother Margaret Walter (Wheeler); and her siblings, Don Walter, Robert Kimmel and Lucia Carol Walden.

She is survived by: her children, William Archer (Laura) of Owosso, Joel Archer (Valerie) of Triangle, VA, Mark Archer of Oakley and Mary Stein (David) of Oscoda; her grandchildren, William, Stephen, Sydney and Anna; her siblings, James Walter (Linda), Margaret Cantrell (Wayne) and Kathryn Wymer (Greg); her daughter-in-law Cristi Johnson; her stepchildren, Floyd George Jr., Susan Giles, Shelly Kelly and Keven George; and her stepgrandchildren, Abby Tepper and Allie Marcelo.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the Hospice House of Shiawassee.
