He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kretzschmer and Rosella Kretzschmer (Powell); his sister Maureen Hill; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Hill, Phil Garthe, Donald Kowbel and Richard Crockett.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Seibel; his children, Kellin Kretzschmer of Owendale, Kendra Kretzschmer (Larry Otto) of Owendale and Karla Kretzschmer of Farmington Hills; his granddaughter Kristina Joy Kretzschmer of Farmington Hills; and his sisters, Kathleen Hofmeister (Ron), Marilyn Kowbel, Linda Garthe and Janice Crockett.
Memorials may be made to Owendale Fire Department and Our Savior Lutheran Church, Bad Axe.
