It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia McKay of Ovid, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on November 27, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Randall and Emma Halpin (Penoyer); her husband Dean McKay; and her grandsons, Nicholas Greenhoe and Gregory Greenhoe.

She is survived by: her children, Daneen (Todd Carroll), Jill (Tod Herblet) and Michael McKay of Lansing, Michigan; and her grandchildren, Steven (Jessica Miller), Devan (Jacob Munson), McKayla (Jordan Bultema) and Kathleen (Samuel Frink). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
