It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Sloat of Ovid, Michigan, born in Saint Johns, Michigan, who passed away on May 13, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Ruth Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ruth Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Forest Sloat and Marguerite Sloat (Wisner). She is survived by: her brother Leslie; her sister-in-law Debra Sloat of Ovid, MI; her nieces, Christine Kondel (Matthew) of Corunna, MI and Terri Sloat of Williamston, MI; her great-nephews, Jordan Sloat of Ovid, MI, Hunter Peterson of Bar Harbor, ME and Colt Kondel of Corunna, MI; her friends, Arlene Kaptrosky, Rita Burnham and Barb Kondel; and also Luka Peterson of Bar Harbor, ME.
