He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Giroux and Anna Giroux (Kasputis); and his siblings, Mary Giroux, Edward and Alfred.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Grazina Giroux; his nieces, Angela Hagy (Jonathan) and Jaimie Giroux; and his nephew Michael Giroux.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Special Olympics in Mt. Pleasant.
