We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2020, at the age of 80, Rita Hehrer of Ovid, Michigan, born in Owosso, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Charles and Alice Beatrice Gallt (Carpenter); her brother Dennis Gallt (Dawn); her brother-in-law Kurt Jones; and her grandson Joseph Andrew Hehrer.

She is survived by: her husband Glenn Hehrer; her children, Renee Barton, Gwendolyn Hoyle, Joanne (Kevin Kellermann) and William (Rhonda Hehrer); her siblings, Diana Jones and James Gallt; her grandchildren, Camron, Robyn, Michael, Katie, Amanda, Kyle, Whitney, Keith, Ian and Evan; and her pet Hector. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to American Alzheimer's Association or Your local humane society.
