With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Kast of Ovid, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on August 10, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Linda had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Linda may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Elya and Myrtle Elya (Swarthout). She is survived by: her friend Donald Kast; her daughters, Sherri Kast (Doug Draper) and Becky Dahlke; her grandchildren, Nicholas Allan Dahlke (Sophia), Olivia Bryant, Wyatt Dahlke and Jacob Kast (Katelynn); and her sister-in-law Sandy Kast-Oberlin.
Ask any of the grandkids how to pick out strawberries or boil water. in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Shiawassee County goat barn with a notation for Linda Kast.
