He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry W. Cross and Sophia Evelyn Robertson Cross; his sisters, Katherine Louise and Mary Joan Cross; and his son Gilbert "Bill" William Cross.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Hoisington; his daughter Linda Fila (Don) of Ovid; his daughter-in-law Kristie Johnson Cross of Lake Elmo, MN; his grandchildren, Gilbert Tyler Cross (Amy), Alison Sturm (Matt), Amanda Fitze (Stephen), Nicole Yaklin (Ken) and Adam Fila (Megan); his great grandchildren, Aria, Kadence, Owen Sturm, William, Adeline Fitze, Caitlyn, Lilliana, Samuel Kennedy, Michael Masters, Ari and Ira Fila; and his sisters, B. Ann Downes of St. Johns and Judith Geisenhaver (Lee) of Monroe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
