He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Joseph and Margaret Ann Crandell (Carpenter); and his sister Christine Crandell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Jon Crandell (Candice) of Charlotte, MI, Terri Platt (Mark) of Mason, MI, Tracie Taylor (Dennis) of Mason, MI and Tammie Platt of Lakeland, FL; and his grandchildren, James Taylor, Damoen Johnson, Billy Johnson and Jenna Crandell.
