It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl (Hamlin) D. Mabie of Ovid, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on June 9, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Hamlin and Joan Hamlin; her husband Kris Mabie; and her siblings, Brenda Hamlin and Michael Hamlin.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Casteel (Heather), Eric Casteel, Terry Casteel and Kristopher Mabie; her grandchildren, Brianna Casteel, Audrey Casteel, Haden Casteel, Quinn Casteel, Noah Casteel and Reece Mabie; her sisters, Pat Tarrant (Jim) and Sheila Furlong; and her aunt Mary Lou Hoffman. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
