He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pierce and Bethel Pierce; and his granddaughter Susan Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Caroline Pierce (Longstaff); his children, Michael Pierce (Linda) of Ovid, Kathy Thelen (Phil) of Ovid and Steve Pierce (Cheryl) of Ovid; his grandchildren, Cody Thelen, James Pierce, Jake Thelen, Dillon Thelen, Jessica Pierce, Kyle Pierce, Katie Pierce, Brianna Pierce and Brittany Pierce; and his brother-in-law David Longstaff (Maria Lolita). He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
