She was predeceased by: her brothers, Jack, George and Jerry; and her son-in-law Richard Thornburg. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Laurie M. Vamos (Bill), Dan J. Thompson (Nancy) and Lisa M. Thornburg; her grandchildren, Danielle Wescott (Brandon), Eric Vamos (Consuelo), Brian Vamos and Simon Thornburg; her great grandchildren, Grant, Sabrina Wescott, Bowie and Roland Thornburg; and her niece Candee Seconder.
