He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Nash and Rubie Nash; his wife Millie Nash; his children, Robert Mathis, Herbert Mathis (Marcine) and Sharon Auge; and his grandsons, David Williams, Dennis Schott, Jr., Gary Hardin, Marston Jones and Troy Mathis.
He is survived by: his children, Martha Williams, Dorothy Hardin (Larry) and Bruce Mathis; and his sister Darlene Klamer. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
