It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Michael Chappell of Ottawa Lake, Michigan, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Tommy D. Chappell; his grandparents, Sanford, Edna Damschroder, Ross and Mamie Chappell; his uncle James Chappell; and his aunts, Dolores Damschroder, Marge Fitzgerald, Alice Bradford and Charlotte Hickerson.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley J. Chappell (Damschroder); his sons, William Dallas Chappell and Ross Michael Chappell; his sisters, Wanda Marie Crawford, Helen Lutricia Perry and Rosa Diane Bayer; his nieces and nephews, Rio, Heather, Michael, Matthew, Connor and Destiny; his goddaughter Jessica Crawford; his aunts, Sarah Golatka and Betty Jo Reeves; his close friends, Henry Czupich and Julie Crist Cantu; and his pet Tohru. He is also survived by 9 great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Those wishing to offer memorials, in lieu of flowers, are asked to consider, the St. Michael Lutheran Church or the Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
