He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline Sr (Schuster) and Edward Fleischmann, Sr.; his daughter Shelly; his brother John; and his stepdaughter Susie Smenner.

He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Fleitz (Randy); his siblings, Henry Fleischmann (Norma), Carrie Mariea and Jim Fleischmann; his granddaughters, Tracy Woodbury and Corrie Bert (John); his great grandchildren, Lucas, Rylee, John, Erica, Tyson, Charlie and Hudson; his close friend Betty Smenner; his stepdaughters, Kathy Dorn (Mick), Carol Morin (Dale), Connie Morrow (Jeff), Chris Tunison (Ray), Kim Osborne (Mark), Peggy George, Michelle Purcell (Tim) and Lisa Smith (Jeff); and his friend Jim Trainor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
