With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William J. Spencer (Otsego, Michigan), born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2024 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Spencer and Trena Spencer (Meninga); his wife Joyce Thayer; and his siblings, Robert Spencer and Margaret Dugan.
He is survived by: his sons, Dave Spencer (Ingrid) of Otsego and Don Spencer (Lisa) of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Nolan Spencer (Mila) of Grand Rapids, Brittany Spencer (Daniel Boutte) of Tennessee and Max Spencer (Ashley) of Oregon; his great grandchildren, Odin, London and Madelyn; and his sister Marcia Spencer Cairns. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
