She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Slack and Mary Slack (Delmater); her son Scott; and her grandson Alex. She is survived by: her husband James Dendel; and her children, James Jr. Dendel (Kelley), Eric Dendel (Doreen), Tori Eckman (Jeff) and Tamara Bryant. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Contributions in memory of Willa may be made to North Avenue Church of God.
