He was predeceased by: his father Orrie Barber; his parents-in-law, Robert and Pauline Ninke; and his cousin Dale Barber. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Barber of Otsego; his wife Arlene Ninke (Ninke); his children, Chase Barber (Traci) of Savannah, Georgia and Angie Barber (Jess) of Kalamazoo, Michigan; his sisters, Deborah Barber of Otsego and Gail Herpst (Joseph) of LaGrange, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Marcy Hoyt (Ken) and Ron Ninke (Karen).
