He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Holmes and Mable Holmes (Kurtz); and his brother Kendall Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Marie Watson; his children, Kari Swartz (Edwin) and Chad Holmes; his brothers, Donald Holmes (Eileen) and Russell Holmes (Marsha); and his sister-in-law Melinda Holmes-Watson (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
