He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lewis and Hazel Lewis (Edwards); and his brother Bob Lewis. He is survived by: his siblings, Scott Lewis, Lisa Sutton (Gary) and Cindy Stough (Mike); and his nieces and nephews, Cody, Zach, Matt Sutton, Michael Stough, Tammy D'Amore, Teresa Stough and Abbey Stough.

Contributions in memory of Rod may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America.
