He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Hughes and Connie Beardsley (Jansen); his wife Linda Uminn; his children, Michael Jr. Hughes (Annie Rhodes) of Sturgis, Stephanie Pieratt (Chris) of Martin, Matthew Hughes (Kara) of Kalamazoo, Poppie, Caroline, Abigail, Madelyn, Fletcher, Lydia, Wyatt and Beau; and his brothers, Rick, Ken, David and Todd. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
